Hello, Fiona here. I've been a celebrant working from Sydney since 2010 and have tree changed to the Southern Highlands. I already know my around having conducted many weddings in the Southern Highlands over the years.
Coming from a lifetime in Theatre, Design and Children's dance and fitness. The journey to being a celebrant has been a fabulous ride. Sometimes a wild one with the weather and all! During that time I've gained invaluable experience that I’m happy to share.
It's an understanding of what a couple needs to feel supported. Certainty is important! I keep the paperwork simple and efficient + I’m never EVER late! You can see from my photo galleries I have the personality and flexibility as a wedding celebrant to work in with your style, yet still remain myself.
At the end of the day, it’s all about what works best for you. There is music to my ears when your guests exclaim “that ceremony was so you 2”. During the last 10 years, I’ve learned a lot. About people, relationships, and myself.
I’ve often pondered. What do weddings mean? Furthermore what is the difference is between a wedding – the day to a marriage – a life together. How can I help make this most important and intense of days as stress-free and enjoyable as possible?
Most couples have no idea where to start. When is the best month to get married in the Southern Highlands? How do I get married? Where will we get married? What makes a wonderful wedding? Who are good wedding suppliers? Let's talk!
I also play harp and when asked to, love to incorporate the two.If you have already chosen your special songs, that’s great too; my powerful Sound System system will ensure you will hear that favorite tune miles away.

What are those Awards about you may ask?
I started out as a celebrant in 2010. Then in 2012, a couple nominated me with the ABIA = Australian Bridal Industry Academy. Surprisingly, I made finalist, which was exciting so I stayed in the game. As all the couples voting were judging my performance it inspired me to try to achieve a wedding ceremony that was 100% on point. Because that's what you want and that makes me feel good.
In the years that followed, through all the challenges and celebrations. I gained valuable experience that could be shared with future couples. Eventually, I won those Gold Stars. Being involved in the ABIA has really pushed me to strive for personal excellence. Most of all, I'm very grateful to all the couples who first of all hired me, trusted me, and then after all the excitement of the Big Day nominated and voted. As it's votes of previous couples who determine the winners.

We could not have picked a more perfect celebrant for our wedding. She is a lovely, warm, and kind lady who is extremely good at what she does. My grandfather, who was meant to walk me down the aisle, passed away the night before our wedding. Fiona was able to give us some good advice prior to our wedding. Everything went exceptionally well. She was there early to help with our decoration. We were 30min late because of the bad traffic.
